Emma de Warren is a french visual artist living in Berlin since 2019. In her paintings, motifs, physical patterns as well as dream symbolisms blend on the canvas. 

 

Anger, repulsion, shame, but also, care, intimacy, and pride, are comically portrayed and voyeuristically exposed. Various forms invite us to dive in. Our sensitivity and fragility, which connects us as humans, and relates the subject and the viewer, is at the forefront of every work.

With a background in social philosophy and care ethics acquired at the University of Exeter, Emma now studies fine arts and painting at the Berlin Weißensee school of Art and Design.
